Carolyn Banner is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Fitness Instructor, and Registered Yoga Teacher with over 15 years of experience working with clients to make peace with food and their bodies. Laurel Jakubowski is currently an Associate Data Product Manager at SPINS, LLC where she works as a part of the Product Intelligence team. Previously, Laurel worked in the regulatory department at a food manufacturer where she gained experience with ingredient documentation and nutrition labeling. She is currently serving as a CAND Social Media Co-Chair and she is also the Illinois State Coordinator for the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group. Samantha Harmon Shuflin, MS, RDN, LDN is the Nutrition Programs Manager at a genetics start-up in Chicago where she helped create a chronic disease management program utilizing nutrigenomics. Emily Kuettel is a Master of Science and Dietetic Intern at Loyola University, Chicago. She holds a Bachelor degree in Nutrition from Syracuse University. Emily is currently the Website-Co Chair for CAND. She is also the Student Representative on the ACEND Board which is the accreditation body of nutrition programs and enjoys learning about various programs. Emily’s professional interests include clinical and community nutrition, sustainability, advocacy, and research, but her long-term career goal is to be a nutrition program director. Olivia Sokołowska is a registered dietitian happily living out her post-grad, dietitian life in Chicago. She holds a Bachelors degree from Purdue University and completed her dietetic internship and MBA program at Dominican University. Olivia had a strong interest in creating her own career by combining her interests in entrepreneurship, cooking, nutrition, and living a balanced life, which is why she recently launched her website, Salted Butter Kitchen.
