Feedspot Award

Happy December! I’ve got some exciting news to share with you.
The Eat Right Chicago blog has been selected by Feedspot as one of the Top 100 Chicago Blogs!
These blogs were ranked based on Google reputation, influence and popularity, quality and consistency, and an expert review.

Our members represent a wide variety of practice areas and the association is committed to lobbying to include the Registered Dietitian as the Nutrition Expert in all legislative areas. Our blog began eight years ago as a way for Chicago RDs to raise awareness of hot topics in nutrition and dietetics. As we gained more traction, we developed a student series so dietetic interns can share information they’ve learned during their studies. Since then we have grown into a blog with a wide array of topics written by RDs and interns with varying backgrounds. To date, we have over 550 blog posts with exponential growth.

I came on as blog lead for the Chicago Academy late August 2017. I spent some time recruiting bloggers and creating a blog schedule with a goal of just two blogs a week. We surpassed that goal with 14 posts over five weeks. For the month of December, we are anticipating 15 posts. With this, I am thrilled to announce with thanks to our CAND team, blog contributors, and readers, we have been ranked 73rd!

Let’s celebrate this great achievement and ogle at this awesome badge we get to showcase!
