Tips for Using Thanksgiving Leftovers

Hey everyone! Hope that you are enjoying a well-deserved break for this Thanksgiving holiday!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays for a number of reasons. Obviously number one is that it revolves around food (duh), but I also enjoy the time to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. The aftermath of Thanksgiving, however, can be overwhelming. How am I going to use up ALL this food? Luckily, I’ve brainstormed some solutions for you!

  1. Turkey Veggie Pasta
    • Cook up some pasta and mix in your favorite sauce, leftover shredded turkey, and leftover roasted vegetables.
  2. Sweet Potato Oatmeal
    • Stir a spoonful of leftover mashed sweet potatoes into your oatmeal and add a dash of  pumpkin pie spice.
  3. Loaded Mashed Potatoes
    • Turn your leftover mashed potatoes into a full meal! Heat mashed potatoes and top with shredded turkey, roasted veggies, and shredded cheese.
  4. Cranberry Turkey Wrap
    • Roll up leftover turkey, cranberry sauce, and fresh spinach or kale in a tortilla and enjoy as a wrap either cold or warm as desired.
